Who we are
Thrubits is a web development, design and digital marketing company based in Saida (Sidon), Lebanon. We build websites, mobile applications, brand identities and marketing campaigns, and we operate our own software platforms including Restbits, Restbits Pro, Superbits, LoyalBits, Thrubits Vcards, Sawa, Yalla and Hasana.
In this document, "we", "us" and "Thrubits" mean Thrubits. "You" and "the client" mean the person or business using our services. "Services" means any work we carry out for you and any platform of ours you use.

Accepting these terms
By commissioning work from us, creating an account, generating a QR code, or using any Thrubits platform, you accept these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to do so.
If you do not agree with any part of this document, do not use the services. We would rather resolve a concern before work begins than after.
Quotes, scope and changes
Services are priced individually. Before work starts we issue a written quote setting out what is included, what it costs and roughly how long it will take. A quote is valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
Work begins once you approve the quote and pay the deposit. Anything not written in the quote is not included.
Changes to scope
If you ask for work beyond what was quoted — extra pages, a redesign after approval, additional features — we will tell you the cost and timing impact before we do it. We will never add a charge you have not agreed to in writing.
Payment
- A deposit of 50% is payable before work begins, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
- The balance is due on delivery, before final files are handed over or the site goes live.
- Prices are quoted in US dollars. Any bank charges or transfer fees are yours.
- Recurring services — hosting, social media management, platform subscriptions — are billed in advance for the agreed period.
- Invoices unpaid 30 days past their due date may result in services being suspended until settled.
Deposits cover work already scheduled and started, and are non-refundable once work has begun. If you cancel before we start, your deposit is returned in full.
Your responsibilities
Projects stall for predictable reasons. To keep yours moving, you agree to:
- Provide text, images, logos and any other material we need, in usable form and on time.
- Give feedback and approvals within a reasonable period — normally 7 days per round.
- Confirm you own, or have permission to use, everything you send us.
- Nominate one person authorised to approve work on your behalf.
If a project goes quiet on your side for more than 60 days, we may close it and invoice for work completed. Restarting later may require a new quote.
Delivery, revisions and approval
Timelines in a quote are good-faith estimates that assume you respond within the agreed periods. Delays in feedback move the delivery date accordingly.
Each project includes two rounds of revisions at each stage unless the quote says otherwise. Further rounds are charged at our standard rate.
Work is considered approved once you confirm in writing, or 14 days after delivery if we hear nothing.
Ownership and intellectual property
Once you have paid in full, you own the final deliverables we created specifically for you — your website design, your logo, your artwork, your content.
We retain ownership of:
- Our platforms and their underlying source code (Restbits, Superbits, LoyalBits, and the rest). You are licensed to use them, not to own them.
- Reusable frameworks, libraries, components and tools we developed before or outside your project.
- Concepts and drafts not selected as part of the final delivery.
Third-party assets — fonts, stock images, plugins — remain under their own licences, which we will identify where relevant.
Showing your project
We may display completed work in our portfolio, on Behance and on social media. Tell us in writing if you would rather we did not, and we will keep it private.
Hosting, domains and uptime
Where hosting is included, it runs for the period stated in the quote — normally one year from launch. Renewal is your responsibility and will be invoiced separately.
Domain names are registered in your name wherever possible. If we register a domain on your behalf, we will transfer it to you on request once outstanding invoices are settled.
We work to keep services available continuously but cannot guarantee uninterrupted uptime. Outages caused by upstream providers, network failures, or events outside our control are not our liability. We will always tell you what is happening and work to restore service quickly.
QR codes and printed materials
This matters if you have printed anything. QR codes we generate encode a permanent web address. We commit to keeping those addresses working for as long as your account is active.
Because printed QR codes cannot be recalled once distributed:
- We will not change or retire the address behind an issued code without notifying you first.
- You can change the destination — the menu, file or page a code opens — at any time, without reprinting.
- If your account is closed or a subscription lapses, codes may stop resolving. We will contact you before that happens.
- You are responsible for the content a code points to and for it being lawful.
Acceptable use
You may not use our services or platforms to publish or distribute material that is unlawful, infringes someone's rights, misleads consumers, or is used to harass or defraud. We may suspend an account that does, and will tell you why.
Warranties and liability
We fix defects in our work free of charge for 30 days after delivery. This covers things that do not work as specified — not new features, content changes, or issues caused by third-party updates or edits made by others.
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in question. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
We strongly recommend keeping your own backups of business-critical content.
Cancellation
Either of us may end an ongoing service with 30 days' written notice. On cancellation you pay for all work completed to that point, and we hand over everything you have paid for.
We may suspend or end services immediately if invoices go unpaid beyond the period above, or if the acceptable use section is breached.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as our services change. The version published here is the current one, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed. For material changes affecting active clients, we will give notice by email.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lebanon, and the courts of Lebanon have jurisdiction over any dispute.
Before anyone goes near a court, we ask that you raise the issue with us directly at info@thrubits.com. Almost everything is solvable with a conversation.
