Make a PDF small enough for WhatsApp and email

Scanned documents get heavy fast: a ten-page scan can easily pass 20 MB, too big for many email inboxes and slow to send on Lebanese mobile data. This compressor re-draws each page at a sensible resolution and saves it as a lighter image, which typically cuts scans by 50 to 90 percent.
